Function singularize

  • singularize(word, isKnownToBePlural?, skipSimpleWords?): string

  • Singularizes the provided input considering irregular words

    Parameters

    • word: string
    • isKnownToBePlural: boolean = true
    • skipSimpleWords: boolean = false

      Skip singularizing single words that have an 's' on the end

    Returns string

    the singular form of the word in the string
